It helps to include your iPhone model, iOS version and the Yarrow version (Settings in Yarrow shows it). Please never send your bank password or full account numbers. We'll never ask for them.
Common fixes
Reconnect your bank
Banks sometimes end a connection, for example after you change your bank password or every so often for security. When that happens, Yarrow shows the bank as needing attention and your numbers may be out of date.
- Open Yarrow and go to Settings, then Accounts.
- Tap the bank that needs attention and follow the steps to sign in again through Plaid.
- Give it a minute to catch up. Your plan updates when the new data arrives.
If it still won't connect, email us with the bank's name and what the error says.
My paycheck wasn't detected
Yarrow looks for a deposit that repeats. It can miss a paycheck if you're new at a job, your pay goes to an account you didn't connect, or it arrives as a transfer or check.
- Make sure the account your pay lands in is connected.
- When Yarrow asks which deposit is your paycheck, pick it from the list. If it isn't listed, tap "My paycheck isn't listed" and type the amount and how often you're paid.
- Irregular income, like gig work or tips, goes in as other money coming in.
A bill is missing
Yarrow finds bills from payments that repeat. Bills paid in cash, by money order or from an account you didn't connect won't show up on their own, and a brand-new bill needs a payment or two before it's spotted.
Add it yourself with the amount, how often it comes and the next due date. Yarrow then sets money aside for it before payday.
My numbers look wrong or out of date
Bank data can lag a day or two, and pending transactions can change. Check when Yarrow last updated (it's shown with your accounts). If a bank needs reconnecting, do that first. If a number is still wrong, email us what you see and what you expected. Don't include full account numbers.
Notifications are off
- On your iPhone, open Settings, then Notifications, then Yarrow.
- Turn on Allow Notifications.
- Check that a Focus mode isn't silencing Yarrow.
Notifications are how Yarrow tells you about a bill due before payday or a late paycheck, so we recommend leaving them on.
Cancel your subscription
Apple handles Yarrow's billing, so you cancel through Apple:
- On your iPhone, open Settings and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions, then Yarrow.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
Cancel at least 24 hours before your current period ends to avoid the next charge. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for. For refunds, use reportaproblem.apple.com. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
Delete your account
You can delete your account and data in the app or by email. See the steps.
