Delete your account
Effective October 8, 2026
In plain English
- You can delete your Yarrow account in the app or by email.
- Deleting removes your bank connections and your stored data.
- It doesn't cancel your Apple subscription. Do that in iPhone Settings.
In the app
- Open Yarrow and go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and data are deleted, and you're signed out.
By email
Email us from the address you use with Yarrow and ask us to delete your account. If you signed in with Apple's "Hide My Email", tell us that address or the name on the account so we can find it. We may ask you to confirm the request from the app before we delete anything, so no one else can delete your account.

Open in Mail
We'll confirm by email once it's done, within 30 days of your request at the latest.
What gets deleted
- Your bank connections. We tell Plaid to remove each connection, so Yarrow can no longer read your accounts.
- Your accounts, balances and transactions from your bank.
- Your paycheck, bills, debts, budgets, plan and the moves you marked done.
- Your notifications, devices and Sign in with Apple link.
Data is removed from our live systems right away. Encrypted backups roll off within 35 days, and server logs within 14 days. We keep only what the law requires, such as a record that you asked us to delete your data.
Things to know
- Your subscription keeps going until you cancel it. Open iPhone Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Yarrow, then Cancel Subscription.
- Deleting the app isn't the same as deleting your account. Your data stays until you delete the account.
- Deleting can't be undone. If you come back, you'll connect your bank and set up your plan again.
- You can also stop Yarrow using Sign in with Apple in iPhone Settings, under your name, then Sign in with Apple. That alone doesn't delete your data.
- Plaid keeps its own records under its own privacy policy. You can manage those at my.plaid.com.
